Feel what it’s like to be a field general making key personnel decisions on both sides of the ball during the game’s biggest moments in Madden NFL 08. Quickly identify your strongest players on the field before every snap then move them into position to make game-changing, momentum-altering plays. Play to your team’s strengths by immediately reading your opponent’s schemes and reacting to the action as soon as the ball is snapped. Create mismatches and exploit weaknesses as you read and react with Madden NFL 08.

Almost, but not quite. Almost though.

Pros: Progress is being made with the 360 and PS3 versions.
Cons: Bugs, but not the kind you step on, mind you.
The last two incarnations of Madden for the 360 were modest at best. Okay, they were forgettable. Now we have 08, and well, it's better, but....
First off, there are some bugs they overlooked (or just didn't give a flip about). My thing with football games is creating my players. I take the Detroit Lions, release EVERYONE and then create my own players. The problem is when you do, certain players come back with skinny arms.
I created a 6'7" 355 pound right tackle and he had little arms. WTF?!!!!!!! Sometimes the game will freeze. That's why they should have brought back the mid-game save like they had on the last-gen versions. And I hear in franchise mode, free agents flat out disappear. Hmmm....
Other than these annoyances, EA Sports AND Tiburon finally took their heads out of their rectums and finally made a good football game, albeit some bugs.
