Feature rich GPS receiver The BGT-31 places all the GPS features at your fingertips, with some great additional extras. Not only can you view all the relevant information about your trip: average speed; top speed; distance covered (on the current trip); overall distance covered; and trip time, but you can also log this information and store the tracking information. The BGT-31 stores tracks on its internal memory, and optionally on an SD memory card, up to 2GB. You can set warnings. For instance, a buzzer will sound if you exceed the speed, or approach a certain point on your trip that you have set. You can see what heading you are on; what the bearing is (of a point you selected); departure time; arrival time; time and distance to the next point of your trip; etc. Various grid references are supported, including OSGB Grid reference format, specifically for the UK. The BGT-31 GPS is very light in weight, waterproof, and floats. Its battery will last for ages - up to 46 hours in power saving mode! It's very affordable and packed with all the features of a much more expensive GPS unit. It is waterproof to IPX7 standards (can be immersed in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter) and, it floats! Although the specifications say it is waterproof, please use an AquaPac if using this on or near water. The GPS can be connected to a computer via the USB port. Data (tracks, waypoints etc.) can be uploaded to the computer from the GPS or from the GPS to the computer.
