Medieval Total War is a great game for me because you deal with real armies , with real battlefields , and castels and to win you must use you tactis.It's a good thing to see, a game without heros, splells, wichcrafts and other fantastic skills .The historical background it excellent. Medieval Total War is better than Shogun from this point of wiew.In Shogun you deal whith armies made in the same civilization context ,and for a european it is more interesting to deal with armies from his medieval civilizaion of Europe .You have beside the medieval european armies , Almohads, Egiptians , Turks etc.
The development of this game put you in difficult situations,alliances,and battle.A inconvenient migth be the fact that your armies are running away somethimes, because of the superior number or valour of enemy . So you must to think very realistic in
those battles.These armies are ready to win the battle, not to die in vane.
The economy will not be a problem for a real warrior ; like in others strategy games, but you must be pacient .

In Multiplayer it's even better. When you face a human it is
another ting...
The humans will not regroup the armies like a computer does!Trust me!
The sound could be better, but this is a small inconvenient for this game.
