Many people remember a popular game called Gauntlet, which used to be found in every arcade in America. Players would take on the likeness of an adventurer and stomp through maze-like dungeons, working together to defeat hordes of monsters. Monolith brings back this timeless classic with Get Medieval, and adds a few hilarious twists to boot.

An evil dragon has taken control of a castle and ravaged a kingdom, and it is up to four wacky adventurers to defeat him. Each has their own personal motivation, but they don't mind working together.

You can choose from a wacky archer, a sexy sorceress, a pumped up barbarian, or an arrogant female warrior. Each one has their own skills or abilities, but all of them attack with projectiles. For example, the archer has arrows (obviously), the barbarian throws axes, the sorceress hurls bursts of magic, and the warrior throws swords.

They are hysterical, never forgetting to add a crazy comment when they pick up an item or "accidentally" step on a floor switch. If you let them stand around too long they'll even get annoyed!

The game sports side splitting cut scenes, narrated by the characters themselves. An original soundtrack and countless dungeons add an addictive feel. Speaking of dungeons, you can choose to play the regular game, or you can choose the option for the Random Dungeon Generator; that basically means you can get a new dungeon every time you play!

Get Medieval is a fun game; good for people who enjoy a challenge while trying to keep a straight face. A definite must if you need a laugh. Up to four players can play in multi-player mode, on a single computer. No network is needed!
