The only regret I have about upgrading to Windows Vista Home Premium is that I waited so long to do so. While shopping for a new laptop to use for both business and pleasure, I was hesitant to purchase one with a new operating system. I've been absolutely amazed with this product from the moment I first pressed the power button! I've read so many advertisements that claimed one could be up and running with a new product in one unbelievable amount of time or another. I can honestly say that the entire first time set up took around one minute. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Vista is a huge leap into the future. The most amazing feature is that Windows Vista Home Premium has the ability to realize when there's a problem. With only two, yes just two, clicks of the mouse Vista Home Premium troubleshoots and solves the problem. The software seems to be aware of what you're trying to do and automatically gives you the option of troubleshooting the problem. Click yes and within seconds Vista will tell you exactly what the problem is and offers to fix it. Click yes again and in a few seconds Vista tells you that the problem has been solved and you are free to continue with whatever it was you were doing. There's absolutely no need for the user to go digging deep into the folders and files looking for the one box that should or shouldn't be checked. It takes the confusion and the fear of making a mistake away from the user. The Windows Flip 3D feature is extremely helpful, and it's just plain fun to do! The whole system is presented in a futuristic style. Giving your computer it's own personality is easy with almost every feature having a vast array of customizing options. With the Windows Instant Search I can very easily find folders, files, programs, missing socks, etc. Not paying attention to what I was doing helped me discover the one and only fault Vista has. It seems that it is possible to recycle the Recycle Bin. The good news is that my theory of such an event creating a black hole that would destroy the entire universe had no truth to it. Nothing happened and I was able to easily restore the Recycle Bin back to my desktop. I can honestly say I've never been more pleased with any other product I've ever purchased. Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium has made the time I spend in front of my computer easier and much more enjoyable.
