Pros: -Excellent on line game play
-Good selection of games
-Xbox Live has many useful features
Cons: -Overheats
-A lot of them break
-Not enough room on the 20gb hard-drive
Whilst I would say it is a brilliant console, all that means is you'll probably miss it whilst its being repaired.
When I bought this console I couldn't wait to get home to try it, only to find out it didn't work. We took it back the same day and got a new one (Which has worked for two years, broken again now.) but it was really annoying to open it and it not work.
Another problem I have is the hard drive, with the new feature of being able to download games onto the console from Xbox Live it doesn't have enough room.
