I have played ps1, ps2, ps3, xbox, nintendo, gamecube, and xbox360. The xbox 360 is an excelent gaming counsole for the indepth gamers. The Platinum counsole is even better for the hardcore gamers, that dont have as much money to spend on an xbox 360 elite. The main thing about this Xbox360 is that it comes with a hard drive. Not only does this xbox have better internals than the arcade but it also comes with a silver disk tray cover to show it is one of two makes.
The graphics for this xbox are incredible, almost life like. The gameplay is beyond outstanding. Not to mention while connected to Xbox live it gives you a whole different aspect of playing. This Xbox has an over all performance that is the best that I have seen from any other gaming system ever created.
The issues:
This xbox like all xbox's have issues.
1. RROD 'Red Rings Of Death' 3 red lights on the xbox.
2. e74 error ' Multiple error codes that open on your t.v. screen that say "e74 error" on the bottom of the screen and in smaller text all over the screen in multiple languages.'
3. Freezing ' this is not as popular to most people because they get the e74 error before this one occurs. While playing your xbox your  screen will freeze and you can do nothing about it. When you turn your xbox off and back on, your xbox works fine but it occurs again within an hour of gameplay."
4. Freezing pixle or checkers 'very similar to normal Freezing other than when your xbox freezes you get a checkered or pixled sequence over your entire screen'.

These issues can be and will be resolved by Microsoft if you do not void the warranty.

Voiding warranty 'If you take off the face plate of your Xbox, you will see a silver sticker that says microsoft on it. What ever you do DON'T PULL IT OFF. It will boid your warranty and Xbox will charge you arround $100 USD to fix your xbox no matter the issue.'

Some issues for the xbox can be solved my swaping video cords. A video cord is the cored that is usually grey with 3 prongs at the end. The three prongs are white/red/yellow and they plug into your t.v. 
On some occasions these cords are loose or unplugged and you get what looks like a RROD. Before sending in your Xbox and getting all angry make sure all your cords are plugged in correctly. Sometimes it maybe your video cord that shows a RROD or what looks like a RROD.
