As home wireless networking continues to evolve, the need for increasingly faster speeds and greater range becomes more attractive. New applications like video-streaming, while not possible with 802.11b, are attainable at higher speeds, prompting users to seek the most powerful available solution for their networking needs. NETGEAR's WG111 54 Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter enables this. At 54 Mbps, it is up to 5x faster than 802.11b, and has greater range than 802.11b wireless products. The USB 2.0 interface allows the full throughput of 802.11g to be available, simply by plugging this into the external USB slot of your desktop or notebook PC. Minimize

Lousy in all ways possible

Author's Rating: Rating: 1/5 stars

Pros: Newest drivers provide easy to use interface and controls.

Cons: Newest drivers slow computer to uselessness, then destroy it. Avoid! Garbage!

Bottom Line:
This would be better sold as a slow-motion self destruct for people's laptops. Read More at Epinions.com
