For someone who is into photography as a hobby, not necessarily into photography for money purposes this is a very good camera. It takes pictures that are very high quality and look like they were taken with the best of the best equipment. I purchased this camera for myself after I graduated from High School and I am so glad that I did. I love that the camera looks so simple, but it can do so much. You can turn your pictures from color, to black and white, or even sepia. You can crop and edit your picture right on your camera. You are able to add voice recordings to your camera so that you can ensure that you will always remember what the picture was taken for. If you don't want to record your voice, but you need to remember the occasion the camera offers you an option where you can just write right on top of the picture. The touch-screen camera can be a bit hard to become adjusted to if you've never used a touch-screen before but it is very nice. I find it easier to use then a camera with many different buttons that you're not sure which one is to take the picture, and which one is the one to zoom in or out with. All in all I am very pleased with this camera, the simplicity of it, and the quality it gives.
