An excellent camera that is easy for beginners but produces photos of professional quality.
I originally bought this camera with an interest in pursuing photography as a hobby/side business. This camera has done nothing but impress me. Its capabilities are astounding and I literally have not taken a bad picture with it. The pictures come out of the camera needing little to no editing and the LCD screen on the back is such high quality that it gives you a very good idea of whether you got a good shot or not. Amatuer or professional - this camera will enhance your photography abilities. There is a bit of a learning curve if this is your first dslr but I have found this camera very easy to use. There really is nothing I don't like about this camera. It is amazing and in my opinion very superior to the previous canon cameras I have used. The pics that come out of this camera will make you look like you've been pursuing photography as a hobby for years! Excellent product!
The automatic features on this product make it very user friendly for a new dslr user and the advanced features such as the ability to adjust ISO, aperature, etc make this a great camera for the beginning professional photographer. The ergonomics of the camera make it fit nicely into your hand although the weight of it takes some getting used to. However, having said that about the weight when you hold the camera you definitely feel that you have a substantial, highly crafted machine in your hand. The lense that the camera comes with in the package is a good overall starter lense which will give you a good range of zoom. Nikon has an exceptional range of lenses that work with this camera that it will definitely meet all your photography needs!
