The Bottom Line:
Recommend anyone who wants more zoom than the average 3x and isn't as cheaply made as most point and shoots lately. Compare to others on market good buy!
So far I am happy with my decision. It appears to be built better than other cameras I looked at and the price was reasonable for the amount of zoom you get with this. I had my first ever night shot city lights actually come out and caught a hummingbird in flight. This is my first double AA battery camera I have bought en and I am not sure I love this feature. This camera is not for professional use but is great for the family pictures and better than the basic use. The controls are super easy to use. The flash is manual not automatic which takes some getting used to. Uses SD and SDHC. The SD slot is in with the battery compartment. For the money it is a good camera. Has a very large 3 inch LCD screen and has no view finder. One thing I learned is that if the pic doesn't look perfect in the screen it seems to turn out better on the computer and or print. So if your having a struggle and think the pic isn't perfect on the lcd screen you may be surprised when you print. Nothing is perfect but I feel for the money it is a good buy. If your not ready for a very large SLR go for it.
