Coolpix P80 is a dud.

Pros: 18X zoom nice and can go to ISO 6400.
Cons:
Battery consumption, atrocious ergonomics.
Tried to upgrade from Coolpix 5900 to P80. What a miserable experience. As much potential as the camera has it falls short in battery life and ergonomics. The battery and memory card use the
same slot mounted on the bottom. So if you use a tripod have to unmount and reset to change battery(often) or get to the card.
As they age the Lithium-ION(ELN5) batteries tend to puff up in the middle. Not good when battery and storage card are stacked together.
