Author's Review
So, I'll start off by saying that I liked the Mario Strikers for the Gamecube very much. This game was lots of fun to play at parties with my friends. It was exciting and we all got into it.

These characteristics transfer to Mario Strikers Charged for the Nintendo Wii. The game has a sad and depressing 1 player mode. I say sad and depressing because it just drags on and on. It is very repetitive. The standout feature is the 4 player matches. I found the most fun was had playing 2 on 2.

This is a soccer game at its best in my opinion. It is cartoonish and completely unrealistic. Do not buy this game if you want a soccer simulation. This is definitely not it.

Mario Strikers Charges uses shell, stars, bombs, etc. just like its predecessor. These elements, combined with an electric fence, provide heaps of fun for 4 people. This game starts lots of trash talking.

Strikers uses the Wii-mote pretty well. It worked almost flawlessly during my play times. The one problem I had with the Wii-mote was the game to block super shots. Overall, it worked well.

Graphics:
Cartoonish and colorful Nintendo world characters are very cheerful looking. Most of the fields are nice to look at but some are just plain and drab.

Sound:
Pretty good. The repetitiveness of some sounds did become annoying after a while.

Controls:
The controls with the Wii-mote were almost flawless. I found no big problems.

Replay Value:
Considering the inclusion and fun of multiplayer, it is moderately high.

Overall, this is a good arcadey soccer game that uses the Wii's motion sensing technology well. Good Buy.
