Pros: New games, story mode.
Cons: Small character roster, few party boards, repetitive minigames, no online play.
Finally, what most people want... to be able to take the party anymore they'd like, which brings me to review Mario Party DS!
It's great how there's now minigames using the DS features, such as the touch screen and microphone. It contains a lot of fun things to do, such as puzzle games.
Although, story mode a bit hard to accomplish. If you do not win, you'll be forced to start over and play the board again. Boss battles make the game a tad more interesting. The reason this game is separated from the others, is because Mario and his friends are actually mini people.
The game includes some repetitive minigames that have been seen in a few other Mario Parties. One of the disappointing things for most, would be that there's only main characters on the roster, and there's no additional characters to unlock. The boards are quite the same in ways, as the environments alter. You have a garden, to a music room, even to DK's jungle.
This game is OK for a portable Mario party, because you can't hope for the experience from a console on such a small device.
