Best Buy for the Long Zoom!

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: 12X Optical Zoom and OIS! Full Manual Controls!

Cons: Higher resolution viewfinder would be nice! No synd port for flash or TTL metering!

Bottom Line:
Close to an SLR at a fraction of the cost! Great alternative to lugging around bulkier and heavier SLR system when SLR quality isn't required i.e. professional use. Read More

The Best long zoom currently available

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Solid feel, intuitive easy to use controls, fast shot to shot time.

Cons: I would have liked AAA's for batteries and a larger rubber eye cup.

Bottom Line:
Its the best stabilized long zoom out there. Lots of user control yet very easy to operate. Looks and feels like a 35mm. Develops user confidence with superb image quality. Read More

It's the new black

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: For anyone looking for the lovechild of a point-shoot and a dSLR, this is it!

Cons: Once you realize this isn't a dSLR, there are none.

Bottom Line:
It's not a dSLR, but it does enough to keep the average enthusiast or the "beginner" pro quite content. Read More
