Pros: Effectively takes up space on a shelf
Cons: A blu ray player is completly useless if it doesn't play blu ray discs
I recived this as a Christmas gift. 60% of all blu ray discs that I have tried with this unit will not read in the player. Brand new retail discs, when insterted into the player result in a "No read" error. I have contacted panasonic about this and they have not been responsive to my calls.
Additionally, after a power outage, all settings revert back to factory defaults. So if you have fine tuned any settings for use with your home theater or personal preferences, write them down - you will need to re-apply them.
