Paris Hilton was born February 17, 1981 in New York as Paris Whitney Hilton. The oldest of four children, she has made numerous accomplishments in the limelight as an actress, a singer/record producer and a model, not to mention has had her fair share of scandals while in the limelight as well. Just Me by Paris Hilton Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4oz for Men - The Product

Just Me by Paris Hilton Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4oz for Men was launched in 2006, ParisHiltonOnline.net describes this scent as a blend of Sicilian Bergamot, Lemon Zest, Tangerine, Black Currant, Key Lime, Sage and Clove Bud. Amazon.com adds many more notes to the fragrance and states that this scent is a blend of: Amber, Lime, Tangerine, Grass, Clary Sage, Black Currant, Musk, Incense, Lotus, Woods, Moss, Patchouli, Sea Breeze and Clove.

The ParisHiltonOnline.net website also states that guys say:

"It smells aqua-ish - kind of like Cool Water."

"It smells like the most complicated one in a good way. It smells like flannel."

The bottle comes in a dark cylinder shaped glass bottle with a circular plastic cap to cover the pump spray. The dark glass shaped bottle is a mixture of a dark charcoal gradient as it clears up at the top of the bottle to clear glass. The Just Me logo and Paris Hilton name are in the upper clear portion of the cylinder shaped bottle. The outer packaging is similar to the color scheme of the eau de toilette spray only the packaging is a rectangular box and goes from the dark charcoal color base to an opaque white top (versus a clear top like the glass bottle).

My Personal Experience

I first purchased Just Me by Paris Hilton Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4oz for Men last year at a store in downtown Los Angeles off of Broadway in an older part of downtown close to the government district which although major developments have been made to revamp that part of the city with half to one million dollar lofts, the shops on Broadway are still very ethnic where English is actually a second language if spoken at all. The shop's name to illustrate my previous statement is called "Perfumeria," which is basically the Spanish word for "perfume shop" where purportedly the fragrances are all original but sold at a discount rate to encourage people to buy in bulk. Some of the shops actually require bulk purchases but typically require patrons to present a "resale license." Since I worked right around the corner at the Attorney General's office in the Ronald Reagan State Building on Spring Street which is a block away, I would frequent the Perfumeria over lunch with some of the girls in my office as we had become regular customers of the store and would receive discounts or be offered a fixed price without tax. So, when I walked into the Perfumeria that day, my intention was to purchase my second bottle of Paris Hilton Cologne for Men, the first of which I had purchased at Target. The store had depleted its stock of Paris Hilton Cologne for Men, but the clerk had informed me that Paris Hilton had another fragrance for men entitled "Just Me for Men by Paris Hilton," and suggested that I buy it. Since there were no tester's available of this cologne, and I looked a bit hesitant to purchase it, she offered it to me for $30,00 for the 3.4 oz. bottle with no tax, reassuring me that it smelled substantially similar to Paris Hilton Cologne for Men. I figured $30.00 when the suggested retail value is $40.00? What the heck! So I made my purchase and went back to work.

When I got back to the office, I opened the box and applied just a bit of Just Me by Paris Hilton only to find that it smelled nothing like Paris Hilton Cologne for Men like the store clerk stated.

Just Me by Paris Hilton Just Wasn't Me At All, But I Still Used It.

I prefer light citrus smelling fragrances like Banana Republic's men's fragrance or even Paris Hilton for Men which to me smells like a honeydew melon. Just Me by Paris Hilton Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4oz for Men isn't bad, it is just the mixture of spice (Clove and Patchouli) with the sweeter notes (Tangerine) topped off with the final kick (Sea Breeze) that don't particularly suit me. Also, it is a bit more powerful than Paris Hilton for Men and overall I can't decide if I was unhappy because of the fragrance itself, or if was because I wanted another bottle of Paris Hilton for Men and was just being difficult.

After those initial emotions, since I had already opened the box and there was no way I was going to be able to return it for a refund, I kept the fragrance and eventually used the entire bottle.  Therefore, I give this product an "average" rating because of the overall value and design coupled with the fact that the scent really is not that bad warrant at least an average rating. It's just kind of a bummer when you don't get what you want! And, I can be so opinionated at times that I just like what I like.

In the product's defense: a lot of men actually like musky heavier spice types of fragrance, especially those that grew up in the "Old Spice" generation. If your man is one of them or you are one of those men and you like the way he smells or you smell wearing musk or spice types of fragrance, definitely consider purchasing this product as you will probably like it.
