"Just Me"...The Second Try Is Charm

Pros: Refreshing, subtly unique aquatic men's fragrance
Cons: None, unless you absolutely reject aquatic fragrances out of hand.
The Bottom Line:
I highly recommend Just Me by Paris Hilton. It proved an old dog CAN learn new tricks. Complex, but in a very favorable way.
"Just Me" by Paris Hilton is her second men's fragrance. Her first, "Men" is okay but only just okay. Men seems "unfinished"...there was potential with this fragrance but whether it was rushed to market or whatever, it did not achieve its full potential.
This is not the case with "Just Me." It has been honed to a very fine edge. The casual observer may be forgiven for mistaking it for Acqua Di Gio. Both are aquatic fragrances and have similar dominant notes but the similarities end there. There is very much more happening with Just Me than Acqua Di Gio. I own both and much prefer Just Me. It bears noting I am very far removed from the intended demographic of the Just Me customer. I judge products on their merits and am obligated to state that if your preference is an aquatic men's fragrance Just Me may well be the pinnacle of this field of human endeavour. I have never really cared for any aquatic until Just Me. If you are able to look past the Acqua Di Gio similarities you will find a veritable garden of fruity undertones. It is a very complex fragrance and in this case, it is a good thing.
How I came to own Just Me is a serendipitous event...I went to my favorite fragrance discount outlet in search of a certain product and found it had been discontinuted. I saw a stack of shaving kits with a reasonable price, picked one up and took it to the cashier. He stated, "Ah, very good sir...you have chosen the Paris Hilton Just Me travel set." To which I replied, "No...I have chosen this shaving kit for the price on that sign over there." He unzipped the kit and revealed a 1.7 oz. bottle of Just Me eau de toilette, Just Me stick deodorant and a three ounce container of Just me shampoo/body wash. Since it was all to be had for what I was willing to pay for the shaving kit, I said "Let it happen." Little did I know...
Anything positive you may say about Acqua Di Gio also applies to Just Me. There is more to Just Me than these similarities and in my opinion they are all favorable. I know little of Paris Hilton...as stated above I judge products on their own merit and this particular product is exceptional. It is the only aquatic fragrance I care for at all, and it is far more than merely acceptable...it is refreshing and unique. Those of us from another era who are tempted to say "It has all be done" have not sampled Just Me by Paris Hilton.
