I bought this fragrance because there was a sale at the Perfumania. When I first tried it, I thought that it was going to be nice fragrance for everyday wear. From the little spray I received at the perfume store, it seemed to be a nice light, springtime perfume.
After a while though, I realized why I did not use this perfume as the everyday fragrance. This perfume lacks depth. It is uninspiring. I consider it to be a one-dimensional scent. You only smell it in the moment that you put your nose to your wrist. And then it is quickly forgotten.
When I first applied it, I sprayed myself like I normally do. I hit all the hot spots- behind my ears, on my neck, on my chest, on my stomach, and on the backs of my legs. I could only smell the fragrance when I put my nose to my wrist. The scent did not linger in my nasal cavity. It is not that I want my perfume to make me sneeze, but I like for the scent to linger so that I know when I pass by guys, they get a whiff of what I smell like. It does not need to be overpowering, but a light aura.
And the perfume was not long lasting either. Keep in mind that I do not have a physically strenuous job where I am sweating all day. With spraying so much, I would have thought that I would have been able to smell like Paris all day long. I was mistaken. After a few hours, I smelled my wrist and could not determine if it was the perfume I was smelling or the fabric softener of my sweater.
I decided that Paris Hilton was not worth the $30 that I paid for it. This should be one of those body splashes sold for $3-4 at the local pharmacy.
