Pros: Incredible photographs, quality of a manual!
Cons: Macro photography is awkward with this camera, but that is usually the case with point and shoots.
This is such an incredible point and shoot! With settings that allow you to adjust shutter speed, focus, and zoom, you actually have a lot of control on the actual image that appears. The interface is incredibly user-friendly. A knob allows you to choose whatever settings you wish. And even if you forget the handy wallet card that describes features in detail, you can figure out which settings to use by the icons. The sharpness of the photograph is simply amazing! Daytime photographs and outdoor photographs come out the best. There are very few problems with glare and lens blurs, which is great. This camera also produces spectacular silhouettes and studies of light and dark. It's the perfect camera for someone who is interested in photography but hasn't yet mastered the techniques of using a manual. It is also a great camera for a traveler.
