Mounted on the PENTAX *ist D series of digital SLRs, the DA Fish-Eye 10-17mm lens will capture fish-eye imagery with a 180 degree angle of view and a focal length of 10mm as well as super wide-angle performance. Full metal barrels, decent sharpness across the frame.

Pros: Full metal barrels, decent sharpness across the frame.
Cons: Visible CA.
An unusually well made fun lens which has full metal construction even the inner barrels. Zooming is ultra smooth. Sharpness is decent across the frame and quite unexpected for such lens. It has however visible CA which some find annoying. But the only complaint I have is that the inner side of the metal cap is not fully clothed so the edge of the hood could be worn over time. It is superficial but I re-taped the whole thing anyway.
