Great toaster, excellent features

The Bottom Line:
Stylish, works well, and a reputable brand.
We received this toaster for or wedding last July. While we don't use it every day, we use it fairly often, and have never had a problem with it. It has a convenient crumb tray that pulls out, which I love. The buttons and darkness dial are easy to figure out and use, and it does its job every time.
The slots are wide enough to hold thick buns and bagels, and has a little space on the top of the lever to pop small pieces of bread up higher so you don't have to reach into the hot toaster to get it out.
I love the retro look of it, and the stainless steel looks great with the rest of the appliances in our kitchen. It is hard to keep up with fingerprints and smudges on stainless steel, but we don't keep it out on our counter so that doesn't bother me much.
We got the two slice model because it is just the two of us right now, and I love the small compact shape of it.
The best feature, however, is that the cord wraps around pegs on the bottom of the toaster, so the cord isn't all over the place in the cupboard.
We got a few Cuisinart items for our wedding and love all of them. I would definitely recommend anything from this brand.
