In the car, at the airport, or on the job - Plantronics Voyager 520 delivers business quality audio performance. Noise-canceling microphone filters distracting background noise so you can be easily heard while the innovative windscreen minimizes wind noise. It's user friendly with convenient one-touch call controls and desktop charging cradle. Versatile design provides a secure fit for all day wearing comfort wherever your meetings take you.

Pros: Sound quality fine despite other deficiencies. Small; not too ugly.
Cons: The wind screen doesn't screen. The noise canceling cancels my voice. No range.
The Bottom Line:
There are better headsets outt there. Too bad, as Plantronics is usually rock solid.
After reading reviews of the Voyager 510, I went to Fry's to buy it, only to come home with the 520 for $5 more because it's not so bulky, and it advertises a revolutionary wind screen in the microphone. Since I drive a convertible, I had some hopes that it would be better than most. (Thanks to both ambient *and* mechanical noise, even the Jawbone stinks for this, and I'm too cheap to shell out for TheBoom, which allegedly works.)
The wind screen seems to make things *worse* than most headsets, even while walking in a light breeze.
Even worse, the range of this (and hopefully not my new Curve 8330) is less than three feet: If the phone is in my left shirt pocket and the headset is on my right ear, turning my head to the right causes massive static, and forget putting the phone in a pants pocket or carrying it at waist level. After about 15 other headsets (because I'm a loser), the range seems to be the shortest I've ever experienced with BT. If I wanted that, I'd get a corded headset!
I'll return it and try the higher-rated 510, but my hopes aren't high for that, either.
