I've had this for about two days now. I lost my other plantronics headset (didn't make me happy I think someone took it out of my purse) and this is my second purchase from this company. I've had a lot of experience with plantronics products where I work and they are usually excellent. I've also had a couple of magnavox products mostly phones, the last magnavox hands free headset that I tried on my tmobile mda (HTC pda phone) would not work properly with it so that's mainly why I avoided the magnavox again.

This unit goes for under 70 bucks at walmart (suggested retail is like 99.00), it features the ability to pair to two phones and noise canceling technology (which you usually have to spend a lot more than this for); those were the main attractions in addition to the plantronics name.

Setup:
Not much, you plug in the charger (standard across the bluetooth headsets made by plantronics apparently so I can even recycle my old chargers that I still have). They give you a cool little desk stand for it but you don't have to use it unless you just want to, the charger plugs in without it also. Two hours for a full charge, they recommend charging for at least an hour at first use. Lithium battery tech should last a good long time and no memory effect problems.

Pairing:
When the headset is first turned on it automatically goes into pair mode for ten minutes.....wow cool you don't have to even figure out how to get into to pair mode if you're the original owner. If you're pairing a older unit or another phone you just hold the button down till the lights flash blue then red (pretty standard across all these units). I turned on the bluetooth on my phone, it found the headset instantly and the passcode is the standard 0000 and it worked immediately.

Sound quality:
So far no one has complained they can't hear me and the noise canceling features appear to work very well indeed. I've used this sitting in front of my computer playing a video game with the speakers running, in a car, outside and in my bedroom with the fans and air conditioner running and no one says they can't hear me ever.

Battery life:
I have yet to kill a battery, you're supposed to get some warning tones and the lights flash red instead of blue when the battery gets low. 8 hours talk time 180 hours standby time should be plenty for most of us, I charge mine every night just in case but probably don't need to.

Everyday use:
I'm not sure I like the single button approach as used here, my old unit (voyager 510) had the call button and the separate volume buttons on the back of the earpiece, I think I liked that better. This unit has volume up/down on the same button that is pushed in to answer calls and turn it on and off and get in pair mode etc. For what I paid for it it's a great headset. I don't tend to use mine for long distances but it seems to get at least the 30 foot range they say it has...when you get out of range you get a tone and then it will try to reconnect again automatically when you step back into range. As far as comfort goes...I find this very comfortable so far, there is a piece that hangs over your ear that is jointed for use on either side of your head and a rubber piece that feels quite comfy in your ear, this is a lot more comfortable than my old 510 was I believe.

To close, I've been happy with every plantronics product I've ever used at home or at work. This is a great headset and you can't beat walmart's price on it either (even online). If you want chargers get them off ebay they're much cheaper and just as good.
