The tiny-fold Quinny Zapp

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: High quality, fits tall children, nice canopy, includes nice accessories, nice steering, tiny fold

Cons: Tricky fold, no recline, can be tippy, no cup holder, small basket

The Bottom Line:
Great stroller that folds tiny and is especially good for travel or small trunk spaces. It has some negatives and is on the expensive end.

Author's Review
This is such a great stroller. My favorite feature is the how tiny it folds up! A few other great features are its precision steering, included accessories, and adaptability. It seats children up to 40 pounds.

Both my 2 year old and my almost 4 year old can sit in the Zapp comfortably with plenty of room to grow. It also steers just as easily with either kiddo in it. And the foot rest is nice, both of my girls can comfortably use it. The handlebars are really nice, well placed, and ergonomic. I am 5' tall and my husband is 6'2" and we can both comfortably push it, and he doesn't kick the back of the stroller like with the cheap umbrellas.

The stroller doesn't recline at all, so it would not be suitable for a small baby. But it has enough of a recline and nice sides so a toddler can sleep in it and lean their head against the side of the seat. The stroller has a very nice canopy that does a good job of shading the child inside.

The wheels pop off of the stroller to make it even smaller when folded. You just push a button and the wheel pops off and then when you want to put it back on, it just pushes on. Simple. The fold/unfold, once you get used to it, is a cinch. It's just 1, 2, 3 steps and you're done. It is NOT a one-handed fold, and there is definitely a learning curve, but once you get it then you will never have a problem. I can fold the stroller in less than 6 seconds.

The Zapp comes with a nice carrying/travel bag that has carrying straps and a place to store the instruction manual. It also comes with a nice rain shield, hardware to attach the Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat, and a small basket that attaches underneath the stroller.

The negatives about the stroller are that it becomes tippy if you hang bags or purses from the handles, the basket is small, the there is no recline feature, the fold can be tricky at first, the stroller can only be used with the Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat, and there is no cup holder or child tray.

Also, the Zapp CAN actually be used from birth if you purchase the Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat. The seating/fabric can be removed from the frame and the included car seat attachment hardware can be used to attach the Mico to the stroller.
