I have been a Guitar Hero fan for quite some time, and I would have to say that Rock Band for the Playstation 3 is a nice addition to my collection.  I never anticipated getting into Rockband just because I would never have a whole band to play with.

One of the things that I like best about this collection is the nice song selection.  There is such a variety of songs for Rock Band that there is really something for everyone.  The whole family enjoys listening to the music.

I think that the guitar portion of this game is a lot easier to play than some of the Guitar Hero editions.  You also have the ability to see when you are in a solo, something the others do not have.

Playing as a band can be a lot of fun.  If you can find someone who enjoys singing along to the music, you can have a great time.  The band kind is a little bulky when it is all assembled, but it can be stored away when not in use and it doesn't take a terrible amount of space up.

There is a great training option for those who are learning how to play the game, but it is quite easy to pick up and it is something that children will also love to play with.

Rock Band has become quite a hit with a lot of people, and I would highly recommend adding it to your collection because I think it is a lot of fun!  The sound and graphics are excellent , of course because it is on the PS3, and it is a great hit for the whole family.
