Pros: Plays Hi-Def Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs; easy to set up and use

Cons: Blu-ray discs are pricier; players are more expensive than DVD players

Though maybe I could have waited another year to go Blu-ray, I think the BD-P1500 is a good player for videophiles with lots of DVDs.

Bottom Line:

Unlike other components, the quality of a blu-ray player rests on the quality of its firmware updates.  Samsung falls down in this area.  Do not buy this product.
