Good. I'm on my 8th and counting.

Pros: Good price for the capacity and speed.
Cons: Can't think of any.
I buy these to archive movies. I would swap these into my 3 external enclosures whenever I needed to access them. This is probably not good for the connectors of the drive and the connectors of the external case. What kills them is doing this and turning them on/off too often. Best to leave them on all day and off at the end of the day. So far none of them have failed after about 2 years.
Every manufacturers have their lemons. From my experience in the computer business, it's the circuit boards that usually fail...we used to just swap the circuit boards (if it was available) and the drive worked again. So don't touch the circuit board nor let it come into contact with anything that is conductive.
I usually buy what's on sale. But will stay away from off brands. Although many times, they are just the same drives from known brands, but re-labeled.
Don't forget to remove the single jumper that's on (from the factory) to get 3.0 Gb/s instead of 1.5 Gb/s.
