Worth renting If you love Sonic but not a game I want to play again.

Pros: A lot of the old favorites were in the game.

I cannot, for any reason recommend this game. Rent it only if you are a die-hard Sonic fan.
This game is probably one of the worst Sonic games I've played. I love Sonic, always have but it seems they just threw this one out there for a quick profit. If you can make it past the terrible camera angles and glitches, you will probably find that the game just lacks any real fun game play. Playing as Sonic was pretty much just hitting the a button to kill one enemy after the other. The game has lots of the old favorite characters, but I found them boring. For example: Tails was, in my opinion the worst character. He was slow and his attack was dumb. The only thing I found enjoyable was the new character's first level. The side missions in the city were not exciting and were a waste of time. The game was generally buggy and had a lot of glitches. It seemed really rushed. The camera angle blocked your view most of the time and hindered game play. The game also doesn't have an auto save feature which is a pain because you have to start all over when you lose your lives. Be sure to use the save function!! I would love to recommend this game but I just can't. Only a die-hard Sonic fan would come close to enjoying this game.
