The flip out live view finder on this versatile camera allows me to get the crazy angles that are my signature style. This is my favorite part of the camera, and is why I chose it over a comparable different brand.

The flexible ISO settings allow for great low-light shots! The ISO button is located on the back of the camera in a very convienent location, which takes away space that could be used for other functions (such as autofocus mode or shutter speed), but if you vary your light when shooting this is a huge convienence.

The Sony Alpha has a very versatile time release feature, and can be hooked up to a remote control so that you can take self portraits or capture very delicate still life.

This camera does superb in automatic mode, but has all the manual options, too. I really love how in auto mode on a walk or hike, I can capture still objects crisply with the background blurred.

This is a true SLR camera, with lenses that can be changed, that feels like a large point-n-shoot. The focus can be changed by twisting a dial on the lense, giving the feeling like you're working with a film camera. This camera is light for an SLR and fits well in slender female hands. It may be a little awkward or cramped for men or people with large hands.

Navigation so easy that I still haven't read the user manual, despite having owned this camera for 6 months.

My only complaint is that the jpgs can be a little soft, but nothing that a sharpen mask can't fix.

Did I say how much I love the flip out view finder?
