Sony scores a winner with the A350 Digital SLR camera, but lens should be better.

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Fast autofocus, useful live view, Minolta lenses, intuitive operation, 16:9, image stabilization on-board...

Cons: 16:9 view not available in viewfinder, body needs more rubber, poor quality kit lens.

Bottom Line:
Highly recommended body for its impressive overall performance at a reasonable price. A better choice than the Canon Digital Rebels or Nikon D60. Avoid the kit lens! Read More

Canon Forsakes Pros, Sony Fills the Void

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: 14mp for under a thousand clams!
Image stabilization in the body

Cons: Needs a little design modification to become ergonomically comfortable.

Bottom Line:
fourteen megapixels will become the standard for pro cameras as will in-camera image stabilization. Buy Sony and start out ahead of the curve! Read More

SONY has Awful Customer Service. Camera stopped working properly too soon

Author's Rating: Rating: 1/5 stars

Pros: The camera was great. When it was working.

Cons: SONY customer service is AWFUL. They are both apathetic and incompetent.

Bottom Line:
The camera was great for 4 months. Far too short of a life span. Because of their VERY POOR customer service, I would recommend Canon or Nikon. Read More
