Pros: Great Deal. Light weight and comfortable. Sound great! Good design! Look expensive.
Cons: Feel cheap.
Best deal I've ran across. I've been using Sony MDR-V700 DJ phones for quite some time. I love them. But they have a design flaw that causes the support for the ear piece to fail, ie, crack! I needed some phones but am limited on cash until I pay off my Korg Triton Extreme. I ran across these MDR-XD200 phones on eBay. Picked em up for $30 after shipping and couldn't be happier. They do compare to my $150 pair of Sony MDR-V700's only not quite as hot. Sound wise though they seemed to be nearly as clear and precise, at least for my ears.
They do feel cheap, mostly due to their weight, but that can be an issue for the pros column if you are paying for the shipping. They should last with reasonable care though. Because they are light weight there is sure to be quite a bit of sound leakage making them a poor choice for vocal recording work.
Nothing bad to say about them really, because of their affordabillity I give this buy 5 stars.
