In Resident Evil 4 you'll know a new type of horror, as the classic survival-horror action returns with all-new characters, controls and storylines. We last saw Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 2 - a rookie cop in Raccoon City, fighting to stay alive. That was six years ago. Since then, government forces have managed to control the zombie threat and Leon has become a Federal agent. When the President's daughter is kidnapped, Leon tracks her to a remote, hidden fortress in Europe - where he'll relive the horror he faced six years before. Players will face never-before-seen enemies that make Nemesis seem like a kitten. You'll be wishing for the usual Resident Evil zombies!

Resident Evil 4 is one of the top ten games period. I have played all of the previous RE games and expected RE4 to be good but not phenomenal. It is quite simply a brilliantly designed game that is designed to keep you playing for hours on end. The main game is amazing. Most people should realistically finish it between 10-15 hours. It is difficult and challenging. Every level beat gave me a feeling of pride. The level designs were intelligent and logical. The new aiming system is the best on any game period. Eliminating baddies is a blast in this game. Enemy AI is also tough. Though on Professional mode is is quite a challenge. The weapons and upgrading system are fantastic. Once the main game is beat a variety of options appear. A new game opens with a different character, this game being shorter, only about 4- 6 hours of gameplay to finish it. There are plenty of incentives to beat the game numerous times. A lot of extras are unlocked, such as new weapons, new outfits, the Mercenaries and Ada minigames and the chance to start a new game all over with all the weapons and money that have been previously acquired. Playing through a new game fully armed is very fun. You can also play the game with all new weapons and test your chances. The Mercenaries minigame allows you to play with extra characters and kill as many ganados as you possibly can in a set amount of time. It is a challenging, fun and addicting game. Much thought and planning went into RE4 from Capcom. It will be difficult to surpass the genius of this game, but nevertheless I am excited about RE5.
