The web-slinging superhero has seen more than his share of comic books and live-action incarnations, and it's time for one more. Based on the 2002 movie starring Tobey Maguire as Spidey, the game sends you out through the streets of Manhattan to track down and defeat your arch-nemesis: Green Goblin. Unlike SPIDER-MAN games of the past, this one actually allows you to fight your enemies in mid-air, using a complex web system to keep yourself suspended. Green Goblin isn't the only threat you'll have to worry about, mind you; Vulture, Shocker, and a whole host of robotic foes will try to slow your progress. In addition to your webbing, you'll be able to use combinations of punches and kicks to inflict damage throughout the game, which features scenes straight from the movie. The graphics are positively awesome, there are dozens of gameplay hours packed in, and the enemy AI is frightening. Any questions?

Pros: At least its fun for the first week you own it !!!
Cons: controls, camera angles, graphics, gameplay, storyline, and everything else
The Bottom Line:
NO!!! DONT BUY THIS GAME. WHY ?? because you WILL be sorry. this game is on my top 5 list of the worst games ever. terrible in every category.
GRAPHICS
I am starting with my biggest complaint which is the graphics, the only thing remotely decent is the cutscenes besides that these graphics are very similar to the nintendo 64 graphics. If you have ever played "dead to rights" which is a good game ruined by poor graphics then you can relate those graphics to this game, the thing is that dead to rights made up for the poor graphics with some great gameplay which brings us to my next complaint.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is absolutely REDICULOUS you try to go one way suddenly the camera moves and you are stuck going another way. Every now and again you need to manually aim you're webbing which by the time you shoot the web were you want to guys are pounding down on you. This game is not based on the movie as the title clearly claims to be. In fact the storyline makes absolutely no sense at ALL.
STORYLINE
When in the movie was the vulture or shocker and i dont remember any giant robots either. These things are just randomly thrown in the game, I liked the spider-man title for N64 but that was alot better and on a much weaker system.
OVERALL SATISFACTION
I wasted my money on this game. If you think you might want to buy this game I hope you rent it first, because I was mislead by the screenshots and reviews and ended up with a terrible game.
