For a thousand years, three opposing forces have waged war for what they believe is true. There can be no room for compromise: their way is the only way. Dubbed The Infinite War, this devastating conflict has taken its toll on a once-peaceful galaxy and has only served to deepen the hatred between the factions. After centuries of struggle, the battle for supremacy has at last reached a turning point. Under your strategic command and leadership, will your faction will reign supreme? Will you be victorious and elevate your race to domination? Or will you lead them into the hell of defeat and ultimate extinction?

Chris Taylor delivers an epic RTS!
Pros: Innovative map scrolling feature, map scrolling is seamless, great longevity potential, high population cap Cons: Average sounds, epic rig needed, micromanagement necessary near chaotic endgame, maps are symmetric and constant Bottom Line: First Impressions: Supreme Commander for PC
Pros: Insane grand scale, map zooming feature, TA memory inducing Cons: resource hog Bottom Line: Chris Taylor On War
Pros: Huge battlefields, numerous units, excellent level of control, customizability Cons: Nothing really special on the graphic end, somewhat troublesome AI Bottom Line: Amazing and transcendent, but only gets 5* because of its originality.
Pros: Original, massive scale, fun to play, great sounds, great music, explosions. Cons: 'Leaders' seem too childish, hard to manage forces, AI too easy Bottom Line: The biggest gaming disappointment of 2007 is here.
Pros: Good ideas. Cons: Lousy A.I. Numerous bugs, and boring as hell. Bottom Line: Doesn't meet expectations.
Pros: Is the sequel to TA. Sort of. Cons: Chugs system resources. Poorly executed zoom. Boring. Bottom Line: |
