Originally designed as a mere add-on to the best-selling Half-Life, Team Fortress II is now much much more. Just log on, join a team and choose your role or "class." Because there are nine different classes, such as Infantry, Sniper and Engineer, each with its own goals, methods and weapons, you can choose the one that best fits your style and skills. With its advanced technology, like Parametric Animation, and challenging teamplay scenarios, Team Fortress II is going to blow away the competition!

Pros: Very fun, low price, constantly updated, LARGE friendly community, dedicated servers, ran out of words.
Cons: Large updates which may take time to download, takes up lots of your life.
The Bottom Line:
I would most definitely recommend this game to anybody looking for a new game to try out. Despite the rating, this game can be played by anyone.
Out of all the First Person Shooters I've played, this is by far the best one out there. Made by Valve Corp., Team Fortress 2 is a great FPS that combines skill, teamwork, and fun! I have almost 350 hours on this game since I bought it in August of 2010. I just love how friendly the community is and how much this game is kept up-to-date, even though it was released in 2007. The community is always there to help you out, and recently Valve added this coaching ability where you can request help from a more skillful player to help you out. Another pro is that there is in-game voice chat which makes communicating MUCH easier with your team, or the other team under certain settings. If you happen to make a good friend in the game, you can add them as a friend on Steam, too. There really is nothing I can hate about this game except that when you do a full install, it will take forever. With so many large updates, it might be 1GB more than when you first bought the game. But you can't really complain about large amounts of space taken when you have games like WoW taking up about 3-4 times more. I really like how well this game runs although it is almost 4 years old. It can even be linked to games like Garry's Mod, where people with Garry's Mod can really mod TF2 a lot. The graphics can be classified as a bit sketchy for those of you running, say, Call of Duty on Very High settings(No, I'm not hating on Call of duty), but Team Fortress 2 on maximum settings is actually really nice if your computer can handle it. Don't let the price, age, or graphics of the game fool you. Now go out there and buy yourself a copy of Team Fortress 2 and watch hours of your life slowly slip away...
