Pros: looks cool, portable, easy to set up, easy to store
Cons: difficult to find correct settings for burner controls.
I bought this grill on sale at my local Canadian Tire store for $99.00 Canadian. I thought it might make a nice grill for camping/picnics. The only thing I've tried cooking on it so far is a couple of striploin steaks, and it cooked those fairly nicely, although I like my steak quite rare in the middle.
I do agree that the burner controls are quite difficult to adjust to the right level, and it is a bit disconcerting that the flame is not visible when you fire it up, (makes it hard to tell when it's lit). I think it will work well enough for cooking burgers, steaks, hot dogs and maybe the occasional kebab. My parents have taken it on a three week camping trip, so maybe they can give me a better report on it when they get back.
