I recommend it to people who have long attention spans, but otherwise I would get Simpsons Hit and Run instead- same things but more.

When I was considering whether or not to buy this game for myself I went on this site looking for a review on it. I found no review, so decided to buy it and write one myself so others could have the benefit of a little input first before they dive in and buy it. I hope this review is very helpful for you.

The story behind the video game is thus: Mr. Burns (an evil billianaire) buys all the buses in Springfield. When the town heres this, they have to turn their cars into cabs and give people rides to buy back the buses. Interesting story, but after that comes real gameplay.

The goal is to pick up as many Simpsons characters as possible and to deliver them to their destination as soon as possible, guided by little arrows that frantically cry, "REVERSE! REVERSE!" every time you go the wrong way. Every time you pick up another character, you get a time bonus- but drive too long without someone riding shotgun and you end the game. Each game gives you some money toward your goal, and on the way you unlock more cars (cabs) and characters to drive the Simpsons in. When you unlock Mr. Burn's Limosine and "The car built for Homer," you are done and a big celebration flashes on your gameboy advance.

The every-so-often unlocking of characters will keep you entertained for a little, but you often find yourself drifting off while your fingers do the work, because there is really little change in what is going on- once a pattern of characters to pick up is established, you will be driving the same route over and over and OVER again until you are really quite bored. This is the only problem with Road Rage. Besides that, it is a good buy.
