Empire Earth II: Art of Supremacy
| Author's Rating: |
|
Pros: Somewhat Good Graphics, Vassalage, cheap.
Cons: Lags every now and then.
The Bottom Line:
Controlling Mankind's destiny, making vassals out of your opponants, seems alright to me and to any Hardcore RTS player.
Empire Earth II was met with mixed reactions when it first came out, with many seeing it as a Empire Earth clone with better Graphics, with others seeing it as what it was mean't to be: the continuation of the series at it's best!
Now, Empire Earth II: Art of Supremacy challanges Empire Earth II's hold on great RTS gming, keeping what made Empire Earth II successful(better Graphics, units and powers) plus adding some things of it's own, such as new campaigns, the Russian and the French were also added.
Along with Oath of Fealty mode, it is very rare indeed to find someone willing to offer their loyalty to you in a multiplayer game, as most players quit once they've been defeated, losing their freedom is almost the same as quitting.
Furthermore, if you plan on playing and not dieing, you should do peace always, for the AI WILL pound you into submission espically on higher difficulty levels!
The Campaign has been extended to include the Russians and all I can say, for those of you who have liked the original Empire Earth's and Empire Earth II, this one won't disappoint you!
Playability: nice, simple and not to complex, easy to control vast armies
Units: Some units are historically accurate, like the Russian T-70.
