The Bottom Line:
Bottom line is that you should buy this game. Its the best game I have ever played and my friends also say that.
Being an owner of NHL 09 I can honestly say that it has been one of the best games I have ever owned. Not only is it fun on Xbox LIVE playing with friends; but it is also fun offline playing Be A Pro mode. The graphics in this game are superb, and the announcers are always saying new things while you play. The features throughout the game are immaculate and its not one of those games that just gets old. It will continue to be played as long as it is up to date. The best game mode by far (in my mind) would have to be the online Teamplay. In that mode you and up to 5 of your friends can play as individual players and take on another team of people. Its really entertaining and creates bundles of joy. Overall I would give this game a 5 out of 5 simply because it is so futuristic with the abilities you have and the ideas it adds to the sports games of our time. If future games follow this games leads, then we will see a great evolution of sports games and the sports game scene. I certaintly look forward to NHL 10!
