The ultimate review and critical analysis of The Small Face

The ultimate review and critical analysis of The Small Faces music and live performances during the 1960s.Includes rare footage never before available on DVD.When discussing songwriting genius in the 1960s three bands are often mentioned in the same breath... and we all know who they are.But two others are often unfairly forgotten or dismissed. The Kinks of course were right up there with the market leaders but for many of us the absolute pinnacle of creative genius during that influential decade came from four East End lads (ok so one was from Middlesex) each not much bigger than a milk bottle. The Small Faces - Under Review features rare live and studio performances of this extraordinary band interspersed with the independent review and criticism of a panel of esteemed experts. These include; Mod expert and Steve Marriott biographer Paolo Hewitt; Melody Maker contributor during the 1960s and early champion of the Small Faces Chris Welch Small faces biographer and all round expert John Hellier; 1960s NME editor and friend of the group Keith Altham; Uncut Magazine features editor Nigel Williamson and many many more. The film also features rarely seen promo films interview footage with the band members TV clips and a host of other features. And with a collection of incredible segments featuring the one and the only (we are not worthy!) Sir Stanley Unwin (RIP) this is not just the only full length Small Faces DVD on the market it's also an inspiring revelatory and downright entertaining look at a truly exceptional band. The opinions on this DVD are completely independent. This DVD is not authorised by The Small Faces any of its members - or the trustees of the estates of any members the band's (or its members') management past or present or any record companies associated with the release or ownership of the small faces music.

There's nothing remotely like it anywhere in the wide world of motorcycle and motor sports. Only the notorious TT Mountain Course presents its challengers with over 37 miles of public roads to attack at mind-boggling speeds. The ultimate challenge has been there since 1907 and in 2003 Ireland's Adrian Archibald was the one to conquer it in determined ultra high speed style on his 1000cc TAS Suzuki. Sadly Archibald's win in the Duke F1 was to be dedicated to his TAS teammate David Jefferies 2002's fastest man and outright lap record holder who was fatally injured in a practice accident. Later in the week the Ulsterman set a runaway 126+mph average pace in the Senior to achieve a fitting and emotional win for the TAS Suzuki team. Watch Kiwis Bruce Anstey and Shaun Harris power their way to victory and marvel at Molly's sidecat wheel-spinning over the Mountain to yet one more win! Pull up a chair and we'll soon have you on the edge of it as we take you through all 8 races - from the road the air on-bike and from kerbcams. With filming from some great new locations picture quality that is second to none and some 'colourful' sideshow action this is not to be missed!

Back in the 70s many wondered if it was possible to combine the disciplines of motocross road racing and dirt track to find out who really was the best in motorcycle racing. The result was supermoto! Today it is one of the fastest growing most spectacular forms of sideways motorsport in the world and nowhere is this truer than in Britain. This comprehensive review covers all the highlights from the 2005 Official British Supermoto Championship one of the few bikesport championships capable of running all year round. This national series is also something of a nursery for those wishing to contest the World Championship; 3 British riders regularly finish in the Top 10 at a World level but you can see them here first! Heavyweight contenders battling for the top spot this year included Christian Iddon Matt Winstanley and Fred Fiorentino among others. This fantastic DVD covers all the action from all 6 rounds including the SM1 and SM2 classes contested at some of the biggest motorsport circuits in the UK. Plus our cameras allow you to get really close to the action while bringing you behind-the-scenes access and interviews with all the top riders. One of the great things about Supermoto is that it defies definition. Is it motocross or is it road racing? The truth is it's neither! But if you love the combination of high-speed road racing and demanding off-road riding you'll love this programme!
