The Air and Water recommends the use of this dehumidifier in bedrooms, living rooms or any room where the humidity exceeds 60%. The 7064 dehumidifier will extract up 18 litres of moisture from the atmosphere every 24 hours. It has a 2.7 litre water tank and when full it will automatically shut off. A warning light will come on and an audible alarm will sound. Alternatively it can be set up for continuous drainage (hose not supplied). When this dehumidifier is operating in cool conditions it will perform an automatic defrost cycle to defrost any ice that has formed on the coils, this will happen every 30-45 minutes. A cleanable air filter at the back of the dehumidifier helps improve the quality of air being circulated through the system. Ensuring adequate air movement improves effectiveness of the dehumidifier, for this we recommend the use of portable fans particularly for confined spaces e.g. cellars and small rooms
