Chanter 22504/0A Why choose French oak: The choice of French oak upholds a tradition that is a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship. The knots and unique graining give the products all the beauty you would expect from a natural timber. Aged timber from trees in the Eastern forests of France is used, which not only increases the character and personality of the furniture, but also ensures that it will hold its value. In using this timber the manufacturer is acutely aware of the natural environment it comes from and so plays an active part in the management of the woodland, ensuring an ecological balance is maintained. These pieces are made using traditional techniques and feature dovetail joints, tenon and mortise joints and square pegs made from solid oak.
