Voltarol Emulgel P penetrates the skin to bring direct relief from pain and inflammation in a number of painful conditions affecting the joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, including sprains, strains, soft tissue injuries and muscular rheumatism. Its soothing, cooling formula is non-greasy and non-staining. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, sunburned skin or other area where the skin is abnormal or near the eyes or nasal area; cover with a bandage or plaster. Do not use if you have ever had an asthma attack, wheezing, urticaria (hives) or a runny nose after taking aspirin or other NSAID painkillers; if you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the ingredients; you are allergic to aspirin or any other NSAID; you are pregnant or breast feeding. Tell your doctor if: you are taking other prescribed medicines; if you suffer from asthma; have ever had a stomach or duodenal ulcer, or are taking any prescribed medicines. Not suitable for children. Your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight. Be careful when sunbathing or using sun lamps. If Voltarol Emulgel P is swallowed, seek immediate medical advice.
