Neff's Series 4, extra wide induction hob is perfect for the technologically advanced, larger kitchen. Offering instant, easily controlled heat, it has two medium sized zones, one circular large zone, and one extendable large zone for longer pans or fish grills. In the middle is a non-induction warming zone too. Frameless, flat and ceramic, it's sleek and easy to clean too.Induction hobs don't heat up, but if you place a pot or pan on the induction zones, it will heat up. They offer gas-like heat control, energy efficiency and the even, spread out heat that gas is famous for. The middle non-induction warming plate works like a regular hot plate though, and does physically heat up.Neff have heat warning lights, because the surface does heat up while in contact with hot pots and pans, and for extra safety have a child safety lock. The removable Point & Twist control is really clever, giving you space age tactile control over your oven.
