This cool looking Precision Radio Controlled Alarm Clock is a neat gadget for everyday use for the home or office, features a large Blue LED display, in Black colour in a modern design with rubber feet on its base that grip the desktop / bedside table and protect it from scratches. It features a SNOOZE button on the top. This clock is 220 - 240V Mains Powered and is connected with a 3 pin UK mains plug AC adaptor. This clock is controlled by the MSF signal which is synchronised to the national time scale at NPL, making it 'forever accurate' and has been pre-programmed to automatically switch when daylight savings time is in effect and will display 'DST' during this time. Once the AC adaptor is plugged into a standard UK mains socket, the clock will begin to seek out the radio signal to update the time. This typically takes between 3 to 6 minutes in good conditions. If after 12 minutes the signal has not been received the clock will initiate reception automatically at 2am and then again at 3am. If after this time it still fails to receive the signal successfully, it is recommended that you change the position of the clock. Possible interferences: Domestic electrical appliances without radio interference suppressors, TV receivers and computers within 2 metres of the clock, Machinery with high frequency leakage, Outside the normal transmission radius of 1200km, Weather conditions, Metal Clad buildings. Note: This is a radio controlled clock and NOT a clock radio. The radio reception may be manually activated or manually terminated and the Time can be manually set when the clock is out of reach of the radio reception.
