I recently purchased this camera used, but virtually brand new, from a friend. Since then I have become obsessed with taking photos. The picture quality is excellent and you'll never want to go back to another camera. I find it very easy to use but the manual and tutorials online will help a lot. Just a step up from the Nikon D3000, the D5000 includes more scene options as well as the fold down swivel LCD screen. I find this screen to be extremely helpful with photographing above the head or down low to the ground. I would recommend this camera to anyone who loves photography. You can create amazing images in all different situations. This camera also includes a built in pop-up flash which works great in most situations. If you're an aspiring photographer, like me, or just someone who wants a nice professional camera, then this is a perfect buy! It's great because it's very nice and professional but not too big or too expensive! Like I said before, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. This camera opened many doors for me and many others that I know. If you want to start taking photographs that will wow people then this is the camera for you!
