Pros: Nice prints
Cons: Ink leaks when printer is not in use.
The ink cartridges in canon's printers leak when they are not in use. I own a i9900 Canon printer, but it is basically very similar to the Pro9000 -- same ink cartridge design. Canon has designed the ink cartridges with a foam pad that absorbs the ink when the printer is not in use. I had eight completely full ink cartridges, but now three are empty and the other 5 are very low. This happened because I did not use the printer for two or three months straight. At $13 per cartridge, eight cartridges, you're talking about a lot of money. It's either use it or lose it.
Don't buy this product. You might have beautiful prints, but you're going to spend a LOT of money on ink that is wasted when your printer is idle.
