Pros:
Very quiet and fast. 'Timing off' feature is great!
Cons: Only one black cartrige. B&W printing is slow and terrible.
Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Inkjet printer replaced my Epson 2200 because of the Epson's continually dry printer head. The cCanon has a flat top - easy to stack things on. It's footprint is fairly large but stable. The recessed power port is difficult to access and having the USB port on the other side of the printer is awkward.
The automatic power-off feature is nice and it's very handy to have the ink cartridge head move into a refill position when the lid is lifted.
Ink cartridges are very easy to replace. Strangely, It's preset paper-size settings do not include 11x14. All-in-all, it's a very good printer.
