The escapees are heading to New Mexico in search of a secret map to a gold mine that was hidden by a prisoner who recently met with a fatal accident. Clark however doesn't like Lewis and Lewis only has Clark around because he's functionally illiterate and needs help reading maps. Meanwhile George (Rose McGowan) a young woman who never speaks has hit the highway after lifting the $10 000 that she and her boyfriend Fred (Art LaFleur) were given for a shipment of drugs that they never actually delivered. After Lewis impulsively shoots one person too many Clark strikes out on his own and while hitchhiking he gets picked up by George who has stolen a car and has a poisonous snake for protection. George learns about Clark's secret gold mine and eager to get on his good side she seduces him. While George spells trouble so clearly that she should have the word tattooed on her forehead Clark falls for her like the proverbial ton of bricks; Lewis also finds romance of his own with a sleazy woman he meets in a trailer park before meeting up with Clark at the location of the hidden map. He saw the racing potential in his friend Issigonis' nimble economy car, the Mini, and after building a prototype, persuaded BMC to build the 1000 cars needed for homologation. BMC agreed to pay Cooper £2 per car for the use of his prestigious name, and the Austin Seven Cooper (and Morris Mini Cooper) were launched on 20th September 1961. The Austin version officially became the Mini-Cooper in January 1962. BMC worried it wouldn't sell but high profile motor sport success soon meant it became the classless car everyone wanted. The signs were there at a young age that Edward would become a successful business man, in his early teens he worked with his father as part of his Agricultural business. Using his father's delivery trucks he expanded the haulage side of the business and in 1976 formed Eddie Stobart Haulage Company with eight trucks and twelve employees. From here, onwards the business grew to what it is now; Britain's most recognised haulier employing over five thousand people. This set commemorates Edwards's career with one of his early trucks in the Scania 111 and a Scania 4 Series with a curtain side trailer from the peak of Edwards career. In the mid-1970s, Edward Stobart moved from Hesket, Newmarket near Caldbeck to his first depot, 1 Greystone Road in Carlisle. At that time the fleet consisted of eight lorries, a mixture of DAF 2200s and 2800s, a Seddon Atkinson and this Scania, registration number KA0 23P, and named Julia. In this era, Edward was a 'jack of all trades' and would certainly have driven this Scania when required.v Minimize
